Logitrans-University of Tamanrasset: an agreement to strengthen the field of research
TAMANRASSET – The public group of land transport of goods and logistics “Logitrans” continues its efforts to build bridges between the business world and the University through a series of agreements aimed at strengthening partnerships in the field of scientific research, Logitrans Group CEO Boualem Kini said on Wednesday.
Lasting 5 years, the framework agreement signed Wednesday with the University of Tamanrasset aims to exploit the capacities of the two institutions for the purpose of scientific interest, research, training, support and development.
The convention was signed on the sidelines of the National Day on Barter and Export, organized by the National Chamber of Agriculture (CNA) under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and in the presence of a large ministerial delegation and representatives of economic companies from the public and private sectors.
According to Mr. Kini, it is a question of ensuring, through this convention, the joint development of a program of joint actions to determine the various lines of research to be developed, and of exchanging experiences in favor of close cooperation by organizing, in particular, study days, seminars and other scientific events.
The agreement covers training areas in transport and logistics, management and business management, as well as all sectors to be developed as needed, added the CEO of the Logitrans Group.
The signing of this agreement is part of the efforts made by the Group to build bridges for cooperation and partnership with the University, and lay the foundations for the development of the knowledge economy.
It also coincides with the celebration of the 54th anniversary of the creation of the National Road Transport Company (SNTR), the Logitrans Group intending to use its long experience in transport and logistics services for the benefit of researchers and students.
The Logitrans Group had signed several similar agreements with the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Technologie (ENST) and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (EHEC).
